Sorry, I should have added that NCL increased their surcharges and would affect anyone booking after the 20th June.We booked in February and were charged fuel costs at that time, I think it was about 1% less than the current charge.

Where did you see this extra charge, small print? I am also on the Jade this saturday, and was not aware that I would have to pay any extra. Is this because you have booked late?

We booked in March/April direct from their website so never used a T/A or spoke to anyone. I have emailed them to request that the service charges are removed as we prefer to pay cash as and when... I only noticed the $11 per adult per day fee = $308! when reading the Q & A on website - I aam aware the costs have risen, but an extra £150 for just 1 couple?>?? THAT SEEMS A COMPLETE RIP OFF - NOT JUST A SUPPLEMENT lol. Anyway if you would like to say hi we are Chris Yates party in cabin 11534, perhaps meet up for a drink?

Have you noticed how much it costs to fill your car recently....well imagine how much it costs to fill a cruise ship....All mainstream cruiselines charge a fuel surcharge these days and you T/A should have made you aware of this fact.

You can have the $280 service charge taken off. Just go to reception and sign a form. It's that simple. All cruise lines I've been on do it. I tip who I want to tip. A tip is voluntary not compulsory. I don't know about the fuel supp though. If you booked and paid before a certain date they can't charge extra but I don't have specific details. Pam.
