We have been on five cruises now all with p&o. On all occasions we have flown with Thompsonfly or Thomas Cook. In January this year we were aboard Oceana and my sister got married on the ship. She was allowed an extra 5kg for her Wedding dress. Which she packed in a extra suitcase. All the very best.

Many thanks, that's great information I wondered whether I might get an extra allowance for my dress.

The airline could be Thompsonfly, First Choice or Thomas Cook. The P&O baggage allowance is normally 25Kg plus 5kg hand baggage .

P & O use several charter airlines and sometimes a schedule airline. There is a vast difference in your luggage allowances between the two types of carrier. Your best option is to contact either your cruise agent or P & O and ask them because we just cannot know your flight details even if we were going on the same cruise. Sorry, .... Neil.

By Ella Chapman

My head is spinning thinking about Universities for my 14 Year old son.Its far too early in my opinion to be thinking that far ahead. We are now currently having to choose his GCSE options, but he does have a very clear career path and knows that he wants to be a Sports Therapist. Some Universities do require a Modern Language at GCSE Level, which my son is not keen to do.However, my concern is that my son will not be attending University for 5 years, what if he changes his mind with what he...

Two Night Taster

By Dawn Gardener

Dawn Gardener's blog

Recently my parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, which happened to fall 2 days before Christmas. Up until a day before their anniversary I was stuck on what to get them. The only thing I knew that they would both really love is a cruise, as they are yet to experience a cruise and my mum has been wanting to do this for years. My dad is ex Royal Navy, so he was keen too, especially to see what sea would be like as a guest rather than working and also a bit more glamour than the sh...
