Celebrity Century Cruises Answers

Thanks Re -Munich,was it easy to get from the arrival gate and onto the Barcelona flight,and what did you put on your luggage labels as the destination ? Munich or Barcelona. Also we cant understand why Celebrity cannot arrange flights from Miami direct to the U.K. rather than have us dumped in Chicago after the cruise.We would much prefer connecting to Manchester via London.I have encountered many of these connecting flights,which Costa Guests have to endure ,if flying out of Manchester and three times our luggage was lost/delayed,and so we allways have this pre holiday worry that our luggage will not make it to our destination,and yet again we could have the nightmare situation of not having our personal possessions on the cruise.Previously we have not recieved our luggage until several days into a cruise,and you can imagine how we felt.We may be paranoid and you may think well why the devil do we continue to cruise.Well like many of our fellow passengers we are hooked on cruising.We just wish fly cruises went direct to the destination from Manchester. I do know p.o fly direct from Manchester,but find their cruises too expensive.Perhaps it might be worth paying the extra for peace of mind!!who knows. Anyway cheers for your reply to my Q.

We are going on the Celebrity Century on the 19th September, our flight to Birmingham goes to Munich and then to Barcelona! coming back its Barcelona, onto Frankfurt then to Birmingham! crazy! the flight does not leave coming home until 18.50pm, it will be a long day, you do not need this at the end of your holiday.

Celebrity Cruises are Brilliant, but their flights arrangements often have a lot to be desired, a change at Munich just from Manchester to Barcelona is a bit ridiculous. Chicago is the second busiest airport in the world, but despite its size it works like clockwork unlike Heathrow.
