Cabins are surprisingly roomy, with two double wardrobes lots of hangers, about 16 drawers ( this is for a double bedded cabin. Dressing table, with mirror, upon which are your drinks (mini bar without the fridge!!) Bathroom is small, with shower, loo and sink, but it does the job. Television, with more channels than I expected (I enjoyed early morning news and last thing at night)VCannot fault the cleanliness or anything else about the ship.

Until this year very few cruise lines have been allowed to call in to Cuba, but after a warming of relations since the Cold War a recent political agreement between Cuba and the U.S. means that this is all about to change. Airlines and cruise lines from the U.S. have been granted permission to transport passengers in to Cuba and the Cuban Tourism ministry are expecting around a 30% increase in visitors in 2017 alone. As MSC, Thomson and Fred Olsen have been sailing to Cuba for a few years, we ...

The River Cruise Line saved as...

I was shocked at the end of last week when I started to hear reports that The River Cruise Line could cease trading.I have personally sailed with The River Cruise Line in the past and had a great experience doing so. I think that they offer very good value for money and offer a product that can cost a lot less to book than some of their more luxurious rivals.Unfortunately Diamond Shortbreak Holidays Ltd who were the parent company of The River Cruise Line announced that they had to go i...
