Q: I'm going on my first cruise in July. It was a gift and I am having a hard time finding information. Cost-wise, what is included and what is not? Where can one do duty-free shopping? Any tips and recommendations would be very much appreciated. Thanks!! 2 answers

Just like Wilba says ....go to their website or check them out on other cruise specialist site. Because you are, I assume, Canadian I am not sure of your duty-free situation and also I would assume that you are leaving Canada for America so check out what the normal rules are for concessions and they should apply. If you are going further afield you may get extra allowances so, again, check with your Revenue sites on the net ..... enjoy, Neil

Nice Gift!!! Food, teas & coffee, entertainment all in with the price. Soft drinks & alcohol is not. Go to Holland America website, plenty of info, video clips there. All ships have shops on board, clothes, jewelery, watches, booze, cigarettes at so called Duty Free Prices.
