Yes there are quite a few of the passengers that are a bit frail and aged. But there are also a number of us that are still sprightly. Look on the good side, it is much easier to be first in any rushes for food, or tenders or queues.

Hello Mz Campbell, I'm sure you will have a good time, my wife and I are are on the same trip and although some reviews seem to suggest that Fred Olsen = wrinkly tours, nothing could be further from the truth. There is always something going on and I think I saw that there is a "disco" in the observatory late in the evenings. It wont be dull or boring cruise. And if you find us propping the bar up late at night say hello !!!! Or will you young folk be in your bed at 11:00 ??

Don't worry & go for it. The ship is great and there will be passenders of all ages. Also almost all will speak English, passengers and crew, - a point first time cruisers often miss.
