Hi Peter & Liz,
We did OV1 three years ago as part of our honeymoon on a stay cruise in the western med. It was great, hence our decision to cruise again. I've been to Ephesus before and can't wait to return because there is so much to take in I missed a lot of what was being said by our guide. That's the one thing I wouldn't miss particularly if your interested in ancient history. We're doing the rest of the itinery on our own otherwise it would just gettoo expensive. We'll maybe meet you on board?

Hi. Wife, me and daughter (17 1/2) going on same cruise. Flying from birmingham. Been on R Carib twice before. looking forward to more relaxed cruise with hopefully enough late teen activity for daughter!.
Looking now for excursions and trying to establish what stops we can/should do our own thing rather than pay the usually expensive organised trips. Looks like most stops you can walk to to beaches or Venice etc.

Hi.
Your right about the trips being expensive and yes you can do your own thing. However, I would advise you research what you want to do and see at all the places on the itinery before you go. We have only booked for the "Ancient Ephesus" tour as in my opinion that is the one thing you can't miss on this cruise! You also need to consider guided tours and Ephesus has so much history that I missed most of what was being said last time I went. We would also be more than happy to share taxis with you if we're doing the same thing. Not long to wait now, getting all excited. Look forward to maybe meeting you on board

Yes first one with OV. We have done QM2 and Brilliance of the Seas before. Wanted to try something a bit different and thought that it would suit our son a bit better.
What about you? Where do you fly from?

Hi again,
We are Tony & Pauline and we fly from Manchester on the TCX 315K 07:30 flight. We did OV on a stay cruise for our honeymoon 3 years ago. A week in Cala Millor followed by a week around the Western Med with OV1. We enjoyed the informality of it all just being able to do what we wanted to do without being tied to sittings in the dining room was great. I'm sure your son will love it on OV2. there is loads to do and I'm sure he will find lots of kids his age with us on this cruise. If your interested in history don't miss Ephasus it's amazing! Perhaps we'll meet you at the airport if you're booked on the same flight or on board OV2. Enjoy! Not long to wait now.
