Basically you buy a book of tickets for soft drinks or beer at 12 for the price of 10. They also do wine packages of various options. You will find MSC different to other lines but what you have to bear in mind is have you got value for money? I have not travelled on Armonia but have done Musica. Food on MSC is adequate ie it is acceptable but nothing special nor memorable about it. Differences you will find - shows are based for a multicultural audience so almost mime like - ie acrobats / dance etc. Everything is announced in five or six different languages. Other europeans do not know the meaning of forming an orderly queue - its a free for all for everything and spanish/germans push in front with no manners. Slight niggles with me were they tried to ply you with bottled water - do not be afraid to ask for a jug of chilled water foc if you want it with meals. Also you cannot go to the bufett dispensers and help yourself to tea / coffee / juice - this has to be served to you by the waiters and is free at meal times, but at all other times is chargable and only available from the bars. The buffet is not 24 hrs. If you are travelling with children there is no other dining alternative other than main dining room in the evening as the buffet becomes a chargeable bistro in the evening. Pool was not heated. If you have booked including their air and transfers be prepared for chaos. Read Wilba Review on this site for MSC Musica which sums it up very well. Like I said though despite the niggles we found it to be value for money and at the right price would do it again but only as a second choice .

As most of you know we are off on Allure of the Seas in December. I went online and logged onto my personaliser to see what was there and most things are bookable already. I always recommend for people to log onto their cruise booking with the cruise line direct once a month as we never know when things are bookable. So far I have sorted out most of our entertainment. Our first night we have OceanAria I think I am most excited for this. I mean an Aqua Theatre on a cruise ship! This extravaganza...

P&O Cruises recently announced that that would be building a 9th ship to join the P&O Fleet in 2020. This comes only two years after the Britannia was released and I am pleased to say that after quite a few problems she has become a firm favourite in the P&O Fleet.Hopefully P&O will take forward the feedback on Britannia but we are yet to see what this new ship will look like; all P&O have said is that she will be 180,000 Gross tons and carry 5,200 Guests. This is the larg...
