Shore excursions are on line about 7 months before departure. Why on earth anyone would want shore ex on this cruise when it is so easy to DIY is beyond me though....

Thanks for your help...we will look around Christmas. We are planning to do most DIY as we are usually very adventurous but were a bit unsure about Rome and Florence as this is our first big cruise (only done a 4 day taster before)and they are both some distance away and both large! Also as I said in the question we are in Florence on Sunday , so is it worth it if the galleries and museums are closed? Thought we might just explore Livorno or Pisa instead.

Sailing like a Celebrity Part ...

As I was only on board for two nights we did not bother with any speciality dining on this occasion so we ate in the main dining room which was amazing. We had opted for Celebrity Select Dining which means we could choose when we wanted to go for dinner and could just turn up or you can pre-book a time on your planner. We pre-booked 6.45pm on both nights. On arrival at the dining room entrance we were escorted to a table towards the back of the restaurant and were immediately greeted by two l...

The Nightmare Of Packing For A Holiday !

By Camilla Edwards

Camilla Edwards's blog

Watching the Royal wedding this weekend, and looking at the lovely outfits, I started to think about what I am going to pack for my Azamara cruise next week. Choosing an outfit for any special occasion can be daunting, and time consuming, and a Royal Wedding must be stressful to say the least but packing, for a holiday is another thing altogether! The first cruise I ever went on was Fred Olsen Braemar sailing from Southampton. Packing for that was easy, just take everything you want as there i...
