How to book excursions,on line or aboard ship.
I like to book in advance, on-line, to avoid possible queues at the desk onboard.
Is there a list available detailing what excursions will be running and the cost - ? I am traveling on 16th Nov for 11 nights.
You can book through the television in your cabin.
I have read that they keep back a percentage of places for booking onboard, but if there's a particular excursion you want I would book online to be sure of securing it.
As well as the other options, the Caribbean is very easy to do your own thing with an abundance of taxis at every port.......Wilba.
Weve been on 3 different cruises and on all you can book a trip on the ship the day prior to the one you want. There are leaflets given to you showing all the different trips available also. I do find though that you can do your own thing at many ports- we have caught trains for instance at a fraction of the cost......Hilary.
I would recommend booking them in advance if your not confident enough to do your own thing. Be aware that if you book them onboard they are promoted in pounds sterling but are charged to your room in US Dollors. RCI use an exchange rate of 2:1 for this transaction. If you book on line, you pay in pounds sterling in advance charged to your credit card.
