We are trying to pre-book excursions on an NCL cruise in May but are experiencing problems. NCL advise that they only have a certain number of excursions available to pre-book on line. Has anyone else experience problems and managed to resolve the issue. Clar.

Yes they are expensive but dont forget if you have any problems with the bus etc , the ship/agent will do whatever it can to get you back onboard, if you did it independantly and your taxi broke down or didn't pick you up then its your problem. as for numbers available i reckon they have a set number available on the website and keep letting people book, its best to book early to avoid disapointment as it can be chaos on board when people want to book last minute ,as for spa not sure on that one sorry , great ship by the way have a good time .

We went on the sea princess to the caribbean in january of last year. we didnt go on any of the organized trips but just either jumped into a taxi at a resonable rate or joined with another couple and done the same. we didnt have any problems doing it this way. and we got to meet other passengers and interesting taxi driver.

Yes you can do the trips cheaper yourself BUT if you break down miss the bus back etc etc you will be waving to the ship as it leaves without yo.

Hall - Answered a Question by carberry (07 May 08 16:01)

I will be sailing on the NCL Jade Oct. 25th. I am so frustrated trying to find out what the shore excursions are and how to book them. I find that I have to have a username and password to log in to get this information. I don't know why this should be a problem. I'd like a list of the different excursions available at each port so I and my friends could decide what we would like to do. Thanks for your help. Caroline Hal.

What Would Be Your Dream Bucke...

Did you know, that the Great Wall Of China can be seen from space? This week in the office I was rather excited for both for myself and for one of my customers. We had been speaking over the past few days regarding booking a journey of a lifetime for one of her bucket list itineraries that she has wanted to do for some time now. When putting together this type of Tailor Made cruise package, I always ensure we are getting exactly what the customer wants, as well as what they expect from their p...

Whether you are relatively new to cruising or a seasoned cruiser, you must have a favourite thing when it comes to cruising? Do you love the formal nights, is it the prospect of a new port of call, is it not having to do the laundry the whole time you are away, or sitting on your balcony just watching the sea go by and enjoying the peace and quiet? For me it always comes back to the same old thing – the food! I just can’t help myself at all. I spend all of my time just looking forw...

Royal Caribbean make some chan...

Royal Caribbean cruises have brought some changes info effect this month with their on-board booking programmes. The changes I read about are mainly based on the US market and I am struggling to find out how we are effected here. One thing I have read is that Royal Caribbean will be taking the option away for people to receive their bonus on-board booking on-board credit on their current cruise and instead having to take it with the new cruise. Also I read that reduced deposits will not ...
