Tottle - Answered a Question by Tottle (24 Apr 08 15:32)

Thanks for your info so far, any further tips on the excursions? would like to do our own on a few days, like to try Toulon and Barcelona, but think we may opt for the organised Pompeii an Mount Etna ones, unless you can recommend a cheaper way. Also any idea of cost of using your mobile on board Island, I know Thompson was around £1 per minute last year .

Same old questions on island line and same old replies from Mcguire Dunfermline. Why don't you people search to see if your questions have already been answered.

Thanks McGuire for your reply, you have been very helpful. On the other hand Matt, I had checked some answers, but thought that was the idea of a questions page, to ask questions! If regular contributors are happy to reply to previously asked questions then thanks to them, negative replys like yours the site could surely do without.... Any other positive replys for excursions ideas?

Matt - Answered a Question by Tottle (15 Apr 08 21:39)

Dear Tottle, I did not submit a negative reply but a perfectly reasonable question as also asked by cruise co. They have a long list of topics for people to check. It's refreshing to read brand new questions and answers and not the same old thing time after time. Surely McGuire must now be fed up of telling people he/she has done Island 5 times and as cruise co. have to check that questions are not obscene etc. some poor member of staff has to read all these questions when some questions needn't be posted. By the way check the topics section it has excursions as well.

The latest technology available in the near v=future on Royal Caribbean is facial recognition. the latest technology is already functioning on Allure of the seas and oasis of the seas and will be found on 13% of the fleet. So what does this mean?It means passengers can now check in really quickly thanks to their pre loaded photo, open their cabin doors without a keycard and a luggage tracker will monitor their bags and send them an alert once the luggage has arrived to the cabin. Wonderful Shanghai pt3

Picking up my Shanghai Blog from last year – you can read the last one hereAfter a great night in Suzhou, we were due to check out of the hotel to move on back to Shanghai. We went for breakfast in the hotel restaurant we found this to be much more traditional and didnt have the selection we were afforded at the hotel in Shanghai. There were pastries and there was what looked like an omelette station but much of the selection was very Asian based – we fueled up ready for our d...
