Not usually, this isn't Cunard in any shape or form. On Island cruises one normally pays for everything. In other words you pays your money, you get your choice.

Last year we were met at a few places by buses which took us to enterance to the port, in a couple of places this was actually the town, and we actually docked right near to the towns and walked about 5-10 mins in a couple of cases whilst touring the Med on the Island Escape. I know a few people commented to me that they were treated better on Island Cruises than on a number of others that they had been on, and I didnt see anyone complaining the whole of the cruise, it was really much more than we could of hoped for. There are quite a few people out there that should open their eyes a bit wider and sample this cruise line.

Not only that but people are wanting tours and particularly escorted tours that really give an essence of that region. Our most popular package of the last few years has undoubtedly been...

Is River Cruising Accessible?

By Hannah Wilson

Hannah Wilson's blog

Quite simply, River Cruising is my passion, my favourite type of cruise. i have been lucky enough to do five river cruises to date and the next one can’t come soon enough. Top of my river cruising bucket list has to be the Mekong, gliding through Vietnam and Cambodia – one day I hope! You would think that river cruising would be perfect for people with limited mobility, smaller ships with less passengers on, only three decks etc, but is river cruising really ideal for wheelchair an...
