Hi, we went on an organised trip around New York with the Queen Mary, but we did not get to see alot as there were a few disabled people on our coach and it took a lifetime to get them on and off the coach (not their fault of course). I would strongly6 recommend you get a taxi and do your own thing. It will cost you a hell of a lot less, or you could get a taxi into Manhattan and jump on the tour bus .

Yes they do,you will be able to book it at purser`s station during your voyage to New York.

We are also going on the QM2 (10th October) back to back, so thank you for asking this question. If you get any other info that may be of intrest we would be really grateful if you could share this with us. In particular we would like to find out if Cunard fast track us day trippers through passport control first? We live in Altrincham, Cheshire .
