Don`t pay the extortionate shore excursion prices, you can very easily, and cheaply, get to Florence, Sorrento, Capri, Rome etc on your own using public transport.

Hello, we're on the same cruise and we asked questions a while ago. If you search 'Answers' for Celebrity Summit you'll find the answers that we got.

It is a spectacular view sailing into Venice one we won't forget but you need a stateroom with a starboard balcony, unless you are leaving Venice whilst still light, otherwise you will need to join the others upstairs to get a view of this wonderful site. We went to see Pisa rather than going into see Florence, it was quite a few there is more to see than just the leaning tower than does not lean anymore !!

How many of you are there? We are on the same cruise and would like to book a private tour of Florence. We did this in St Petersburgh and it worked very well. Roland, Glasgow on July 31st.

Verona to Trento is about 1 hour and there are good train connections. We visited an Aeronautical museum of Giovan Battista Caproni, one of the most important engineers of Aeroplane’s h...

The luxury cruise ship was forced to bob without direction 30km off the coas...
