I think the answer is no - as mentioned already there is always a cut off point for booking the excursions which is usually midday the day before and many of the excursions will be full and sold out anyway depending on how popular it is of course. You could always book an excursion now and then cancel in time if you change your mind but again there is a cut off point for cancellations so make a note of this when you book. As most places you only have a day on land I find it is best to decide what you intend to do with that day long before you get on board.

It will tell you in your daily programme the cut off time for booking the excursions, never heard of anyone booking on the day. As Solender has already advised plenty of info on the sites they have recommended..Carol

You can "do" Stavanger, Geiranger, Flaam and Bergen on your own. www.regionstavanger.com or www.rodne.no, www.visitgeirangerfjord.com, www.flaamsbana.no or www.visitflam.com For Bergen, www.visitBergen.com unearths a wole lot of information and download possibilities! Usually on the ship the Tours Team are escorting or busy loading people onto coaches for the tours of the day! Perhaps you are looking to play games with the weather?
