Neil & Ida Down - Answered a Question by johnson (25 Jan 09 14:58)

We have just done Puerto Vallarta and without any question we did one of the best whale watching trips since Alaska there and they should still be there in February. Because we didn't dock until late morning we found it best to do the ship's excursion but there were others advertised on the internet at better prices but the timing was wrong for us. I haven't been to Cabo San Lucas for years and never to Ixtapa. Hope that helps. .... Neil.

Its advisable to take excursions from the ship when visiting Mexico, you will take a tender from the ship in Cabo San Lucas, no docks are large enough, you will tender and walk to town in 5 minutes. Ixtapa was built for the tourist, you actually dock in Zihuatanejo a few miles from Ixtapa so you need to take a taxi to visit Ixtapa. James .

Based on national averages, this equates to each person in the U.S. using about 38,000 straws between the ag...
