Hi, one the Princess website in learn about our cruises you find out all you need to know under ports of call, for P & O on their website try the community section for information about P & O excursions and travelling independently. It is normally more cost effective to travel independently and most often not too difficult, for example in Barcelona the Barcelona Turistic Bus is excellent, hop on hop off open top bus tours commentary in 7 languages, 3 routes which interchange, you can get tickets right outside the cruise terminal and pick the bus a few yards further on, or even purchase tickets in advance. Also Bareclona.com has information on other tours i.e. helicopter & cable car rides. Some pre-departure research may benefical on the pocket. Hope this helps.
