Have just returned from a 12 night cruise on Oceana to Iberia and the Canaries. The entertainment was fantastic. The Footlights theatre company are brill and put on 5 wonderful shows, also the Enterntainment team headed by Hughie Taylor are great and very energic and really get into the spirit of things. This was our first cruise and will certainly be doing another one and will definately be choosing Oceana. Have a fab time.

It is very difficult to know what the entertainment is going to be like on any P & O ship as it depends which Entertainment Officers are on board and which acts have been booked. We went on the Oriana in November last year and the entertainment was fantastic. We booked the Oriana again in April this year and the entertainment was dreadful. If you are lucky enough to get Gary Gladding as your Cruise Director and Matt who is an entertainment officer then you are in for a good cruise. We have always had a good time on the Oceana but it all depends as I have said. We have booked the Oriana on the 26th September and when I inquired as to who the entertainment staff would be on board I was annoyed to find Gary Gladding will be on the Oriana at the end of our cruise. Unfortunatly our Director will be Nigel Travis and he is not very good.

If you have to travel a long distance to get to the embarkation ...

My husband and i have recently returned from a cruise on Symphony of the Seas to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary and without a doubt it was one of the best cruises we have done. We arrived in Barcelona on 27th April and had one night at the Onix Liceo Hotel which is centrally located about half way down Las Ramblas on a side street, and is a great location for a pre cruise stay if you are looking for something central. We took a taxi to the port the following morning where the check i...

A mini cruise to remember..

I’ve just come back form a cheeky three night mini cruise with the girls so I thought I would give you a sneaky peak at some of our best bits.We were a large party of twelve with a mixture of friends, some who had met through www.CRUISE.co.uk. Some of us are still here but others had moved on to pastures new, so it’s always nice to catch up with everybody to see what people have been up to and what’s new in their lives. Not everybody knew each other which was also nice as we all...
