We have been with P&O a number of times and generally the Entertainment has been really good.It will certainly have a British feel to it.On previous cruises we had the likes Iris Williams Bobby Crush Roy Walker plus the resident Theartre Group The Headliners. In addition we have had Bob Champion the Ex Jockey Tommy Docherty and even Eddie the Eagle as after dinner speakers and classical piano recitals are on offer.Of course entertainment is a very subjective matter so it may not suit all . But I am sure that you will find something to suit your own particular taste particulary as you are on the world cruise when P&O try do something special.I hope that you enjoy Artemis as much as we did she is getting old and shows it in places but she has a lovely atmosphere.

Sights, smells and tastes ...

By Alexander Abraham

Singapore has got everything, its one of the first places I stayed in on my way back from New Zealand back in 2003 and is still my go to stopover in Asia to this day.Mainly its just a great starting point for all things Asia including cruises which start and finish here regularly. It has great shopping, architecture, history, theme parks and zoos and even beaches nearby if you have the time to go looking. Its like dipping your toe in the wonders of Asia and South east Asia before taking the b...

Is a Guarantee cabin worth the saving?

By Helen Henderson

Helen Henderson's blog

Do you take the risk and book a guarantee cabin to keep the cost down and take pot luck on were the cruise lines position you and allocate your cabin ?This can be a great way to reduce the cost if you are not concerned whether you are next to the launderette , by the lifts, above the theatre or under the pool areas.Sometimes for medical or mobility reasons people need to be close to lifts or public areas so guarantee cabins aren’t ideal as you have no say where you would like to be .P...
