The problem is the choice within the packages is limited & unless you buy the high end packages the saving is not that great IMO. Just to clarify 'anytime' as Hill says anytime in the various dining rooms but not through the day on decks etc.

There are different wine packages available with RCCL, they show them all on there site, wine deals start from 5 bottles upwards and they have different selections, the more you pay the better quality wines you get. I would say it is cheaper if you drink wine everyday to buy a package, you can have your wine anytime in any dining room. Remember on anything drinks wise you buy there will be a 15% surcharge.

You will find the wine packages on the Royal Caribbean web site and I would have thought that with six of you it would be quite a lot cheaper to buy the packages. You might even find that you get a voucher for a better deal once you are onboard. Wine that is not consumed will be held over for you until you need it again, it is not necessary to consume each bottle at one sitting so if one person has a particular wine that they like and the others don't it is not a problem, although that can be pleasant to finish it in one sitting. ..... Wine packages - comes at 3 diff levels (gold Platinum and Diamond) - I think the selection is pretty limited and far better choice from the main wine list. It is called the Wine and Dine package and just to clarify you do NOT only have to have it in the dining room - you can order at lunch, in your cabin and by the pool. Here is the link to the full wine list: http://community.webshots.com/album/562747533yjShXM.

Hi! When we wanted our wine package for the cabin one evening, they were very reluctant but after a bit of mony mony they gave in begrudgingly, so we never dare ask when we at the pool. But yes we did indulge at lunch in the main DR. Regards.
