Last year I did see one gentleman wearing jeans, but it seems to be generally not the thing to do. My other half has a few of those jean-trousers to wear. So they look much smarter than jeans, but are still casual. He also has normal trousers to wear. And its goes without saying its a no no, on the night of the captains cocktail party. Never stayed in a 4 birth cabin, so can't comment on that.

Hi, no you re not aloud to wear jeans in the seven seas restaurant at night. I stayed in an inside cabin and it has 2 beds they are fairly compact but enough room to move about.

Hi was on the Destiny in August for the third We had a 18, 17 15 and a 11 year old, all wore jeans on some evenings because if you are on for 2 weeks teens these days so like jeans and you can dress them up to look quite smart! Third time for us on he Destiny and has never been a problem, but we love to get dressed up on Captains night and other nights to! Four birth cabins are very very compacted usually 2 sets of bunks. But you dont spend to much time in them so we just about manage as its to expensive for us to have 2 rooms. Hope you enjoy the cruise we love it aboard Destiny We took another family this year and they loved it too!

Just returned from destiny.on the last night my partner wore black jeans in seven seas and shirt.had wore smart trousers all week and had seen others with jeans on and nothing was said, however most people are pretty formal so it depends whether you would feel a bit out of place.

Plastic is Not Fantastic

By Lily Canderton

Lily Canderton's blog

I was watching the Princess Documentary this week in Alaska and it was good to see the crew policing the use of plastic straws on the open decks when the ship was in Glacier Bay as they are one of the biggest causes of debris and pollution in our oceans and are difficult to recycleThe average American uses disposable plastic utensils at an average rate of 1.6 straws per person per day. Based on national averages, this equates to each person in the U.S. using about 38,000 straws between the ag...
