Just a quick add on to a suggestion by others: If you plan on hanging anything in the shower room to take the creases out, take along a PLASTIC coat hanger. On some ships they are WOOD(not so good in steam) & fit into a bracket in the closet so do not have a rounded top to hook around the shower. AND, from the voice of experience, don't overdo it with the steam. I set the fire alarm off which resulted in a speedy visit from some of the crew. - embarrasing....

You don't have to dress up if you don't want to as you can eat in the buffet restaurant. Last time we were on the Dream hubby's dinner jacket creased but the cabin steward did a great job in pressing. Can't remember how much it cost but couldn't have been much as I probably would have remembered !! Worth it if it makes you feel more comfortable !!!

Since everyone else will be in the same position, why worry? You shouldn't need to press the jacket if you pack carefully. Just don't take anything linen! You will feel the odd ones out if you don't dress up, which is worse than being a little creased!

You're not forced to dress up on cruises, but you'll really miss out if you don't; it's all part of the lovely experience and a shame not to join in - you can dine casually anywhere, but a cruise is surely special? Trust me, the creasing won't be a problem - hang the items in the bathroom, turn the shower to hot and in a few minutes any creases disppear as if by magic. I used to think this was just an urban myth, but it really does work :-) Whatever you do, have a great time ... Cheers, Lynn
