Climate in Southern Alaska is not dissimilar from that of the UK. Be prepared for any type of weather, it could be wet but shouldn't be too cold. It's a beautiful place.

Just as said but when the ship is stopped by the glaciers it is cold and the same applies if you want to go the White Pass, that might sound obvious but people forget, and you will do well if you avoid the rain because it does so often. .. Neil.

Hi, we are on this cruise as well, done a bit of research would advise taking a water proof jacket, every excursion we have booked advises this. We were also advised to take plently of layers ie, jumpers, fleece etc so when the sun does come (and it had better) you can just peel off. have agreat cruise .
