You would take exactly the same dress for Equinox that you would on RCI; you don't say if you are male or female but basically you would wear the same as you would for any formal cruise night. Check out Celebrity website for details if you are unsure. For men you can hire formal gear on board - tuxedo etc. Details on Celebrity website.

I've been on both, and took the same evening wear, cocktail type dreses, not long dresses for formal nights. On the casual evenings, still wore smart outfits, i.e. trousers, also a nice chiffon skirt I have with smart tops, summer dresses. I never felt out of place, even though some ladies wore full length ballgown type dresses. How they packed them, I have no idea! You will enjoy the Equinox, it is a beautiful ship.

Sights, smells and tastes ...

By Alexander Abraham

Singapore has got everything, its one of the first places I stayed in on my way back from New Zealand back in 2003 and is still my go to stopover in Asia to this day.Mainly its just a great starting point for all things Asia including cruises which start and finish here regularly. It has great shopping, architecture, history, theme parks and zoos and even beaches nearby if you have the time to go looking. Its like dipping your toe in the wonders of Asia and South east Asia before taking the b...

Is a Guarantee cabin worth the saving?

By Helen Henderson

Helen Henderson's blog

Do you take the risk and book a guarantee cabin to keep the cost down and take pot luck on were the cruise lines position you and allocate your cabin ?This can be a great way to reduce the cost if you are not concerned whether you are next to the launderette , by the lifts, above the theatre or under the pool areas.Sometimes for medical or mobility reasons people need to be close to lifts or public areas so guarantee cabins aren’t ideal as you have no say where you would like to be .P...
