Hey Morris sorry if I hit a nerve there, but having never done a Thomson, I assumed they were aimed at the more casual dress code like OV, as that's the 'feel' of their advertising. Regard.

Cunard's Queen Victoria is your best bet if formal nights are high on your priority list, and what an exceptional choice it would be. Some great Meditteranean itineraries as well.

To all who read this please state the ship or cruise line & you will get a positive responses. Most lines have formal nights except Ocean Village, Island, Thomson. The rest all do in different levels of enforcement.

You can dress for your dinner if you like . also you must dress to inpress on ladies night on island cruises.and when you go to oais or steak house.

For mr/mrs Wilba....Thomson do have formal nights! one per week and very good they are too!! although there is informal dining in the buffet if you so wish.
