I consider myself suitably rebuffed for my incorrect answer - it was too early in the morning. Normal service with correct answers will be resumed immediately.
No, informal is informa.
Depends on cruise line. Informal on most means jacket. Casual or smart casual is without jacke.
Hello Sorry to contradict but it does depend on the cruise line. "Informal" on some means jacket and tie and not "Casual" so if you want a correct answer please say which cruise line and preferably ship you are talking about. Sorry to rebut such an eminent authority Heathe.
Sorry, would actually disagree but would depend on which cruise line you are with. Informal usually means men wear jackets (although not always ridgidly adhered to) and casual nights are wear what you like (although again some cruise lines do not allow jeans in dining room in the evening.
On Princess, inform is smart casual... smart pants and a smart shirt (long or short sleeved but with a collar) for men. tie and jacket not necessary. On Cunard even smart casual night is a jacket and tie affair.
