Find Your Cruise
If you get a taxi to the port ask for "Paeso Maritimo", you'll drive along the marina road. Once you see the ship you're on point it out ton the driver and they'll take you to the correct port entrance. In Palma there are two different ports. The Thomson ships usually use the dock nearer to the Centre of Palma. The larger ships dock in the "old" port as it has deeper water and is further out of town. Hope this helps.
It goes from Pier 4 at Estacion Maritima not Paeso Maritima as far as I am aware which is the same one as used by Island Cruises - Paeso is the promenade - you will see the ship though from the paeso.
Read it before criticising it! I said point out the ship from the Paeso Maritimo. If you ask a taxi driver to take you to the Estacion Maritima, he'll probably take you to the old port first!
Read it before criticising - I was making it clearer to someone asking a question. To walk from the Paeso to the ship is about 600 yards due to the road layout even though it only looks a short distance as the crow flies.
THe old port is Porto Pi not Estacion Maritima - so the taxi would not do as you suggest. If we want to be pedantic it is at Club De Mar Muelles de Poniente Estacion Maritima Pier 4. The taxi will know it as Estacion Maritima.
I beg your pardon, you must be a very seasoned traveller.
If you have enough time to spare [40minutes] jump on the no. 1 but [less than 2 euro and a tour of the centre of Palma included!] The last stop drops you directly outside the terminal for the Destiny.
