Hello i was on the ship 2 weeks ago and was told that i cant get on till 2pm
but as i live in Southampton i got there at 12.30 and got straight on the ship had a look round plus had dinner as my cabin was not ready till 1.30.
Plus there were lots of people on before me....hope this helps. Alan
Thank Alan, will try my luck and try and get on as soon as possible. Can you tell me is the Casino was open during this cruise. I have seen posts on here saying that the casino doesn't open if the boat remains in British waters and did you enjoy this mini cruise. Any advice or tips would be appreciated, this is our first cruise and we are travelling with our 2 boys aged 12 and 9.
Hi Everyone, I went on the Indy last May (Inaugural sailing) to Ireland Cork and it was amazing... you will all have a great time, drinks will be more as the dollar exchange is not so good for us brits but dont panic... food entertainment and gymnasium were wonderful... plus the staff were out of this world...
we boarded early around 12.00 and went to ther windjammer after a quick walk around, was my first cruise but not my last O have rebooked a med cruise on Indy again with balcony this time for May 9th 09 so if your all excited how do you think I feel... I am 37 years old and cant sleep at night he he (like a child of 5yrs old on christmas day)...
Any questions please ask your very welcome, was really pleased with Royal Caribbean just an amazing experience... mark x .
On board by noon usually.
Thanks for posting this question. I was just about to ask the same thing! We are travelling on the same cruise with our 11 year old daughter and 9 year old son. We are starting to get excited now!
Best wishes, Samantha.
Hi Samantha, I know its school holidays but I was wondering how many children would be on board. We are travelling with our 2 boys aged 12 & 9 so maybe they might meet up in the Adventure Ocean club.
I too will be on this mini cruise. You can often get aboard much earlier than the advertised boarding time, just remember that you do not have an automatic right to board early. My advice would be to aim for boarding at noon which should allow enough time for ship Customs clearance and disembarkation of the previous trips passengers. Whatever you decide just make sure you are not LATE.
I did this cruise and they started boarding at 11 Can't wait to go on it again .
