Yes Breakfast & lunch is served in the main DR but not to your assigned table. Just arrive & you will be escorted to a table as you would in a conventional restaurant. Don't believe all you read about chaos in the Windjammer, I've done many RCI cruises & have never this problem, however I have experienced this on other lines. Don't Panic ...Enjoy it.
Good move stepping up and yes, on most days you will be able to have breakfast and lunch in the dining rooms and have waiter service. There are days when the restaurants are closed for lunch and sometimes breakfast but these are generally embarkation and disembarkation days and days when the ship is in port they might close for lunch but the Windjammer is quieter then anyway. regards ....Nei.
Breakfast is served in main dining room every day. Lunch is served there on sea days only. Hope you will notice a huge step up from OV.
Hi I am off in october with my family too.... was thinking of asking the same question, handy site!
