THOMPSON - Answered a Question by bulbulia (10 Jun 08 13:30)

We dined in the White room on the Ventura during the canaries cruise 9th May - 23rd May 2009. Marco Pierre White came on board on the 20th May and we dined on the 21st. We arrived and he was sitting down in the restaurant. The room is quite dark overlooking the aft of the ship. The service on our particular evening was slow. A bottle of wine had been finished before the main course had arrived and we are not fast drinkers. The £20 per head on reflection for the type of food (Italian bias) was ok although I would have been upset at paying more. Nice restaurant, good food, and attentive staff. The two nights Marco Pierre White was on board he ate in EAST!! We have dined in the Celebrity Millenium speciality restaurant and I would always favour the Celebrity ambience.
