We are taking our little boy who will be 3 on Venura in March 2009. We have opted for freedom dining so (hopefully) we have a little bit more flexibility on dining times. The early sitting is too early for us, and the late sitting seemed a bit risky with a 3 year old. We are rather hoping that he might take to the night nursery which would be a huge bonus.

Our Daughter went on the Oceana last september with her two daughters aged 10 and 11, also her sister in law and daughter aged 2. They also had 8-30 dining and no problems! Anna had a high chair but they also took her pushchair so when she had had enough she was put in her pushchair and fell asleep! Hope this helps! But boys will be boys, hope you have a wonderful cruise (and the best of Luck!

Very young children have their own High Tea provided. The childcare on P & O is excellent and will ensure that you are free to enjoy your evening meal in peace along with other diners! Ther is even a night nursery till 2am if you are raving in the nightclub. Go to the p&o website for more info. your grandchild will have a lovely time.

It will be fine for him to dine with you however P&O have also dedicated children's tea which your grandson could go to then go to the night nursery when you are dining.

I have already submitted an answer but obviously it has not been recorded. However I will try again! Our daughter and family along with her sister in law and daughter aged 2, sailed on Oceana last september. They always have second sitting for dinner and Anna the 2 year old went with Mum and Dad sat in high chair till she had had enough (both food and company) then they popped her in the pushchair to fall asleep! Worked wonderfully for all! Sure you will enjoy it! But boys being boys may have other ideas.

No fly cruises have now become so popular. Each year, as the number of people taking cruise holidays increases, so too does the number who want to cruise, but dont want to fly. There are many reasons why people prefer no fly cruises. Here are just 10 of the more popular reasons.(1) We live on an island! No matter where you live, youre probably closer to the sea than you realised. So, its probably just as easy to get to any of the major cruise ports as it would be to get to an airport. Cruise...

Amazed by Symphony Part 1

By Anne Eaves

Anne Eaves's blog

My husband and i have recently returned from a cruise on Symphony of the Seas to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary and without a doubt it was one of the best cruises we have done. We arrived in Barcelona on 27th April and had one night at the Onix Liceo Hotel which is centrally located about half way down Las Ramblas on a side street, and is a great location for a pre cruise stay if you are looking for something central. We took a taxi to the port the following morning where the check i...
