Hi we just did the mini cruise on the Jade on the 27th June and are going again on the 11th June. As far as food poisoning goes, I did notice that many people (must be first timers) didn't use the Gel provided and the staff we not there to ensure they did. However we and anyone else we encountered were fine, although I have seen reports on this site of some upset tummies. Be sensible, use the gel, wash your hands after the toilet and on returning to your cabin, you never know on any ship of any quality. Hope you enjoy the cruise.
In My Travel Guide April 15th, 2008 from Sharron “As we walked in the back door to go to a table, we glanced through the kitchen and saw employees smoking right there in the kitchen while food was prepared. Why this wasn't a dead give away to not eat there I don't know. I guess thinking oh, its just seems gross. Ever since I ate their Mongolian BBQ. I have been sick. Four days and counting of stomach cramps and many other horrible symptoms. I think its food poisoning!”
but nothing more recent I can trace but would think NCL will have dealt with this by now.
