Although everything is in dollars it is all charged to your account and then paid by your credit card. Make sure the exchange conversion is done by your bank and not the ship as you will inevitably get a better rate. You can get euros at ATM's in Europe when necessary which you will need for small purchases. Any large purchases can be put on your card. You may need dollars cash for the casino....not sure about that.
You do need Dollars for the casino but you can draw these out on your seapass card & it just gets added to your account.
I paid everything on the account which came off my credit card. You will need Euros when ashore and dollars for the casino.
