You cannot use cash on any Major Line cruise ship. Your credit card details are submitted prior to boarding & all onboard charges are made to it. If you've not got a credit card, I suggest you get one as a Debit card is not accepted.

With RCI you cannot buy anything onboard with cash but eveyone will be given a seapass card which if you want anything it will be charged to your card. To set up your seapass card you can register a credit card and at the end of your cruise you will recieve a bill or you can go to customer service deck onboard on the first day of your cruise and pay cash, its like a pre pay credit card. everytime i go on holiday i always pay by cash as i like to stay in control of how much i spend plus in your stateroom you can have a look on the tv to how much money you have left and went you run out of money just top your card back up .

Everything will be charged to your onboard account(just like a hotel). At the end of the cruise you settle by credit card (not debit card) or US$ cash.

Most cruise lines will take cash (you pay the Purser an amount of money when you check-in), credit and debit cards. Travellers cheques are also frequently used.

The luxury cruise ship was forced to bob without direction 30km off the coas...

So this week marks the Japan week promoting various different cruise lines that are incorporating a stay and cruise, with new 2018 itineraries now in place. So why is Japan a top destination in 2017 – Here’s what my colleague Holly had to say.“Japan had proved to be a top destination for 2017 and is already in demand for 2018 so why is this the case? After visiting Japan myself in 2016 and also with Joanna Lumley’s Japan airing on ITV in September 2016 it really is of n...
