Q: why is it dearer to get off that stay on board

been priced up for the QM2 to new york on the 25th June, in steerage have been quoted just over 2k per adult to travel over, get off and get back on 5 days later and return, but if i want to stay on board for the 5 days and travel up the coast to canada its only 1600 and they throw in parking and $200 towards tips i mean cabin credit, is it me or does this not actually make any sense.

also can anyone advise if cunard do a soda card as neither of us drink alcohol.

This must be through a travel agent as the one thing Cunard do not offer is free parking. Yes Cunard do have a soda package just see any barman who will put a sticker on your account card.
