Freemantle - Answered a Question by Woods (11 Nov 08 14:52)

I have found that it pays to book with a specialist cruise agent, not only because it is cheaper but providing you book with an agent who has a huge amount of knowledge about cruises you can benefit from their experience. At first we booked direct with a cruiseline but as soon as we found out about the cruise clubs we found a reliable one and since then have booked with them. They know who we are as soon as we call and they get to know our likes and dislikes. I would book with a specialist agent every time.

Easy. The price on the operators website is the price the you or the agent/specialist pays. The agent/specialist is then given a trade discount, say 15%, who will then give you half of their profit, say 7.5% which reduces your price by that amount......Wilba.
