Well we've just booked for October 2012 on Oriana !!!! it depends whether you mind what cabin you get or even if the cruise sells out before you book it...if you're not that bothered leave it as late as you dare.....
we particularly wanted to book Oceana for January 2012 and kept checking to see how it was selling...well we had to book last November as there were only 3 outside cabins left!!! it sold out very soon after....so if you really want to go keep an eye out on P and O website for how the sales are going!!!
We booked our September 2012 P & O Arcadia cruise the first day the bookings were started about three weeks ago as we were told by our agent that the earlier you book the better discounts you get and also we were told to look at the "obstructed View" cabins as they are very good value and a lot cheaper than the other outside cabins and we were lucky to get a very good cabin with very little obstruction and a huge cabin area. You can go onto P & O site and see pictures of all the obstructed view cabins so you can see what you will be getting. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
If you want a specific itinerary, on a specific ship, in a particular cabin, on a definite date get it booked. If you are just looking for a good deal leave it until later.
Well, we booked P & O Oriana for September 2012,2 days after they went on sail in April.
One side of the ship was already full, hense we didn't get our prefered cabin choiceGood luck.
Not at all, just booked our trip in November 2012, Booked this septembers Cruise in March 2010 and so far saved me £4000, at least you know when you want the flights...There are many that cruise a few times a year, I just wish I was one of them :(........Brian.
Well folks thank you for the input.
