Q:Hello
Any opinions whether, it would be better to leave booking a cruise for November 2012 0r even Oriana January 2013- nothing like being organised- please dont laugh at me!!!, to late next spring or summer? I usually arrange our trips well in advance. However I notice the recent late deals are extremely favourable. We are considering Po 0r Cunard. Part of me also feels a bit greedy as we have 2 trips arranged for this year & shortly will have to buy air tickets to Israel for a trip ther next April. Kindest regards to all |

Well folks thank you for the input.
As usual didnt wait.
I've booked The Adonia August 2012 .
Had I booked when when the cruises were released I could have saved £100 each.Well thats a few less
pounds for the taxman.
Thanks again and wishing everyman a happy healthy and safe holiday.

If you want a specific itinerary, on a specific ship, in a particular cabin, on a definite date get it booked. If you are just looking for a good deal leave it until later.

Well we've just booked for October 2012 on Oriana !!!! it depends whether you mind what cabin you get or even if the cruise sells out before you book it...if you're not that bothered leave it as late as you dare.....
we particularly wanted to book Oceana for January 2012 and kept checking to see how it was selling...well we had to book last November as there were only 3 outside cabins left!!! it sold out very soon after....so if you really want to go keep an eye out on P and O website for how the sales are going!!!

We booked our September 2012 P & O Arcadia cruise the first day the bookings were started about three weeks ago as we were told by our agent that the earlier you book the better discounts you get and also we were told to look at the "obstructed View" cabins as they are very good value and a lot cheaper than the other outside cabins and we were lucky to get a very good cabin with very little obstruction and a huge cabin area. You can go onto P & O site and see pictures of all the obstructed view cabins so you can see what you will be getting. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
