from past sailings with Cunard, i have to say it would not be my first choice for children.
Cunard are by far the best cruise company we have traveled with, however they are geared for the the more discerning passenger, and im not sure that kids will recieve the most enjoable of cruises. i would suggest P&O or Royal caribean for children. Hope this is of some help.
Thank you for your answer. As past happy P&O cruisers with the family we have always been more than happy and we were about to try Ventura but the recent press diverted us at the last minute to Victoria as we are also travelling with 2 grandmothers. We have been on the QE2 and Caronia (without children) previously and indeed found them discerning and most enjoyable. I like to think our children's behaviour will be appropriate and past cruises have given us no cause for concern as far as taking them on Cunard is concerned. As the cruise is booked the deed is done and I will write a review on my return from the children's point of view for future cruisers. If it does not work out we will be back to P&O for our family cruises!
Hope you have a great cruise, we are also now booked on the QV in July so may see you on board. Im sure the family will have a superb time.
See you on board! You will spot us, 2 boys, 2 Granny's and my 6ft 10in husband!
