Many of the sailings from Southampton by MSC ships come with free parking as part of the deal. Just make sure that you book a sailing where it is included. I've had it on all my 3 sailings from Southampton with MSC ......... Pete.

Depending on your travel plans, many hotels let you use their car park for the duration of the cruise if you stay with them the night before embarkation.

There is no free parking at Southampton unless it is built within the cruise deal. BEWARE of entering any of the car parks near and around the Cruise Terminal as they are camera controlled. We entered one to ask directions and got a parking fine for only being there for 14 mins.

No but many Cruise Companies including P & O often have free parking as part of the deal - you usually have a choice of free parking or On Board spend.

No free parking ,but you can get it cheaper using Park at my house .com and they could take you and collect you to the ship, for a small fee. allantaylor06@aol.com.

Free parking can be obtained with most cruise lines at time of booking ( we've managed it with msc, p&o, royal Caribbean and Cunard from Southampton) - however it's not available ALL OF the time. Offers come & go , one week you'll be able to get free parking next it will be onboard spend. If your lucky you'll get both combined - really lucky you'll also get a drinks package or wifi package as well.

Friends of Dorothy!

By Robin Clarke

So I recently confirmed a Royal Caribbean cruise for a customer and his Husband. They are relatively new to the cruise market (excuse the pun) and as you can imagine he had plenty of general questions about the cruise such as activities and entertainment. In recent years the habit of using the friend of label has been increased to also include: Friends of Dorothy (FOD). With most cruise lines now catering for the LGBT market including a LGBT Community Mixer at the Champagne Bar on the Indepen...

Will Symphony of the Seas have...

Royal Caribbean’s 4th Oasis Class ship is about to grace us with her presence in a few months time but will she have the X Factor. It was announced recently that the biggest ship in the world will have some brand new features which sets her apart from her sisters.I for one am a big fan of Oasis Class after sailing on Allure of the Seas 2 years ago but the 6500 passenger vessel isn’t to everyone’s taste. For me Symphony will not only have the X factor but a huge emphasis on t...

What is it about Celebrity Cruises?

By Hannah Wilson

Hannah Wilson's blog

……… that I love so much! Apart from loving their fabulous ships which have a most luxurious feel about them that is? They realy are my favourite main stream cruise line, have been for a long time and probably will remain my favourite unless one of the other mainstream cruise lines really up’s their game.Of course it will come as no surprise to anyone that it is the food as much as anything that I love. For me, no other cruise line can touch Celebrity when it comes to f...
