If they make a change it is your hard luck, if you want to make a small change then it will cost you. You are yet another victim of small print

In March 2010 I booked a QM2 cruise visiting Mumbai in March 2011. After I had paid my deposit I received a letter saying that they were now not going there and substituting another Indian city. I rang to try and cancel this cruise as I wished to change to another ship which was still going to Mumbai and was told that I would lose the whole of my deposit. Seemed to me that as they had changed the itinerary which I had booked it should be them and not me who lost deposit. I expect the QV will be the same.

It can be found on their website and in their brochure. Roughly though you will lose your deposit if you cancel up to the date of full payment after that if you have paid in full you will lose a sliding scale up to 100% depending on how much notice you give them.
