Thomson have a dedicated number in their brochure to reserve your cabin for £30 and they are very helpful in describing the cabins, Give them a call and tell them what you want and they will reserve it for you- note that deck 6 is the promenade deck and may have some nosie as people walk around.

We had a lovely spacious cabin with double bed and bath as well as shower on Deck 6 which is the promenade deck and it was just a short walk to the door out on deck where there were steamer chairs to sit on. I think it was number 223 (I dont have abrochure to hand to check) but it was forward of the lifts , very quiet and we thought it was excellent.

We have just booked our 4th cruise on the celebration,(just returned on the 13th), we usually book a suite, these have been quiet rooms on deck 7, however last year we had a deluxe cabin on this floor and there was a connecting door and this turned out to be noisy as you could hear the couple next door talking infact you could hear every word said otherwise the room was spacious.i hope your parents enjoy it.
