Hi there. No real problem. 3016 is well forward, only one cabin more forward of you. The only noise you will experience is in the mornings of Port visits, usually an hour before docking. The crew have a nasty habit of flaking the mooring lines on the open deck ahead of you and you will hear the capstans running. Fortunately you are at the right end of the ship to avoid very noisy engines and vibration.

This comes only two years after the Britannia was released and I am pleased to say that after quite a few problems she has become a firm favourite in the P&O Fleet.Hopefully P&O will take forward the feedback on Britannia but we are yet to see what this new ship will look like; all P&O have said is that she will be 180,000 Gross tons and carry 5,200 Guests. This is the larg...

It is amazing how many guest I have spoken to over the last few weeks that have booked excursions through the cruise liner, which I may add are quite expensive. Cruise liners make a lot of money selling excursions at a hefty premium, but many people are happy to pay the extra because booking with the ship is the easy option and they have the comfort of knowing the captain will not leave port until everyone on his ships tours is back on board. I totally understand the reasons behind this but b...
