Q: Can anyone give me any feedback on a Grand Suite on IOS, comparisons with AC grade on Ventura/Azura?
Is it worth the ££?
I have never been on IOS and am keen to give it a try.

Please don't get too excited about the free drinks in the concierge lounge.Yes they are free but we found it to be a very small souless, windowless room with absolutely no atmosphere.Drinks on the ios are very expensive but we preferred to pay in the other amazing bars with lots of atsmosphere and good company. Have to agree about the lunch in the italian next to windjammer.Fabulous.

I have stayed in an AC suite on the Arcadia, and also a Grand Suite on the Independence of the Seas, they are chalk and cheese. The Grand Suite wins on every point. Not only that, but being in a Grand Suite, you will have a "Gold Key Card" this will open up lots of "extras” In the Windjammer self service Dining room, you can take your food into the Italian Speciality Restaurant to eat, there are table cloths on the tables, waiters to get you drinks, and best of all you are NEVER waiting to find a table to eat on, which is certainly not the case in the Windjammer itself. You also have a reserved area on the sun deck for gold card owners with far more space that the general area. In both the Ice Rink and the Theatre there are reserved seats for Gold Card owners in the prime spots in both venues. Last and certainly NOT least you can use the "Concierge Lounge" where you have use of a Cappuccino machine 24 hours a day that also have continental breakfast in there as well. I have saved the very best until the last, From 5.30 until 8.30 they have free drinks in the Concierge lounge every night!!! If you try the grand suite then in my opinion you will NEVER return to a P&O cruise I have not got a video of the Grand Suite, but here is a video of an Owners suite, they are both very similar, but the Owners Suite is 50% larger than the Grand Suite . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZIGitSzSE0&list=UUOq7g0L2go1ZuEFiHSrEhNg&index=29&feature=plcp http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6ijfqpvcj0&list=UUOq7g0L2go1ZuEFiHSrEhNg&index=28&feature=plcp
