No - not in the rooms - you order it from room service. As someone else on this topic wrote 'you are on a cruise ship not in a caravan...' However if you are in a suite then the answer is yes.

You can obtain it in your room at any time of day,a breakfast menu card is in the cabin and can be filled in for what you require for each day, you then place it on your cabin outside door handle before you go to bed.

You have to order from room service - which seems a hassle at the time - it is only really the British ships where they offer these facilities - but I would be quite happy that there are not these facilities in cabin as it is a fire hazard .

Two points. always when we have ordered tea/coffe as room service the water is nowhere hot enough. secondly, a friend has told me that on a recent trip on the NCL Jewel, there was a kettle in the room, along with sachets.

I've just been with RCI (Enchantment of the seas)and we ordered room service every afternoon whilst we were getting ready to go out in the evening. Sometimes we just ordered tea/coffe and sometimes pizza for the kids! (or big cookies and cheesecake). All were delivered within half an hour and we didn't have any problems with it being cold. They always followed up the room service with a phone call to check that you were satisfied with your drinks/food which we found very nice. Enjoy.

Mansion before our Wedding.

By Steve Fuller

Steve Fuller's blog

I got married recently and if you read my previous blog youll see it was in Florida. I wanted to share some photos of the villa we stayed in. It was more of a mansion to be fair. Twelve bedrooms and 15 bathrooms it was well equipped to look after the 20 of us who stayed there. To start the holiday off we flew business class with Virgin Atlantic. I know 20 people in one place sounds like a lot but the size of this place was enough to provide everyone with their own space and you never felt like...
