Hi Blyth from Dundee, thanks for your answer. Why didn't I ask these questions before booking? Because I always book suites, and even though I haven't sailed with P&O before, I would have booked the suite anyway - besides which, I got a good deal. Lyn .

Fred Olsen & a few Guinness!

By Barbara Hopley

On 15th December we headed to Liverpool to join Fred Olsen Boudicca for annual Christmas Conference for 3 nights, the 1st night the ship stayed docked in port in Liverpool. This is a great city and the dock is right in the center opposite the Liver Building so within walking distance to the city. We didn’t have time to see Liverpool as we drove up in the morning leaving at 7am to arrive by 11am. Luckily the traffic was on our side so we arrived early. Myself & my colleague Teresa...

What value would you put on my customer service – 30? more? less? nothing?I’m not talking about gratuities/tips/service charges. I’m talking about what makes us stand out from our competitors? What makes you put your faith and trust in us, rather than one of the many other companies out there selling cruises? What is it that brings you back time upon time again? What do you look for when you are thinking of booking a cruise? The lowest price? We price our cruises very com...

Alana Mills's blog

I have blogged about this before as there have been an unacceptable number of deaths in Swimming pools on-board cruise ships and yet only Disney Cruise lines employed actual Life guards to monitor their pools.Well it looks like things are changing. At the end of December Royal Caribbean started advertising for Lifeguards on their ships. The Post Stated that candidates will need to perform rescue of Guests in danger of drowning and be vigilant to potential accidents. Will be trained to administ...
