We have had E189 on Arcadia. It was excellent no vibration .Only one minor problem when the Sun is on the balcony it can get very hot as there is very little air movement. We had this Cabin a couple of years ago and recently Arcadia has had a major refit so things may well have changed.E136 has an even bigger balcony but like e189 is overlooked but we found it again Excellent.

Thank you for replying to my question, the information you have given is very useful. I don't mind the balcony getter a little hotter I certainly think it's worth the trade off for the extra space. Thanks again.

We have had an aft cabin but not on Arcadia, we were on Costa Serena which was a newish ship. We did have very loud vibration noise (and we were high-ish up) but only when manoeuvering into port so not too bad as long as we didn't want a lie in!!! We did like the extra space on the balcony and the fact that in theory we would be in the sun whichever way the ship was facing but in reality it wasn't that sunny (we were travelling from Italy to Canaries) but it wasn't windy and we loved watching the wake of the ship which was below us. I'm not sure if on Arcadia the balconies are overlooking deck space so might be worth checking!!

We went up to Deck 11 to where the pools were and some of the Bars to meet the rest of our group. The atmosphere was really good the sun was shining the music was on it was really nice and of course, I had a drink i...

I have just returned from 5 nights on The Re-vamped – “re amplified” Independence of The Seas with Royal Caribbean and what an absolutely incredible trip it was. Watch out for my blog in the next few weeks where ill be showcasing all that is great about this mega ship. This blog is about something I learned very recently from Royal Caribbean. It turns out based on research 7 out of 10 people ask their kids about their holiday choices and family’s with kids often pick the...

A mini cruise to remember..

By Ruby Perkins

Ruby Perkins's blog

I’ve just come back form a cheeky three night mini cruise with the girls so I thought I would give you a sneaky peak at some of our best bits.We were a large party of twelve with a mixture of friends, some who had met through www.CRUISE.co.uk. Some of us are still here but others had moved on to pastures new, so it’s always nice to catch up with everybody to see what people have been up to and what’s new in their lives. Not everybody knew each other which was also nice as we all...
