How did you get on? I know you always get the grade of cabin asked for BUT have yet to find anyone that got upgraded ... live in hope I guess!!!
If you have paid for a balcony cabin, then you will get that grade as a minimum. You can often find out your cabin number by going into the P&O cruise under "Before you sail" in their website. Just input your name and booking ref. You can also put in your other details to save time at check in.
I wouldn't be too concerned. We have often travelled with P&O on a cabin guarantee basis and have been upgraded more than once. The cabin grade you paid for is always going to be the minimum that they have to give you and if you're really lucky you could be upgraded by quite a few grades (You could even be given a suite - think positive.
Have spoken to P&O regarding 'Guaranteed Bookings' and was told that although all cabins on the ship have been sold, they work on the premice that not all will pay the balance. If everyone did, then they will 'buy people off'.Seems a bit underhanded but you can be sure that your booking is safe.I would prefer to know my cabin number at time of booking.
Hi there. Booked a guaranteed cabin (outside twin) on LF grade virtually hanging on to the anchor and was upgraded to C deck outside twin. Due to sail on Aurora in late November so you can be lucky.
