You have probably heard that OV is being redeployed to Australia by now. Keep booking and enjoy while you can for there will be few good value cruise holidays left after OV has gone in 09/10.

I did !!!!!!! will write the review in next couple of days. However I loved having the suite A157. Big room about 18' x 13' with same width balcony (not overlooked) which was about 4-5' deep. Huge (6') sofa and a separate armchair with a long coffee table and big square side table with a lamp. Lamps on the bedside drawers. A dressing table the whole depth of the cabin with more drawers. A walk in wardrobe with MORE drawers and a safe, iron, ironing board, lots of hangers. In other words LOADS of storage. The bathroom has a wood floor (like the promenade deck) which is lovely and warm. There is a bath 'cubicle' with a full size bath, whose entrance is covered by a shower curtain. There is also a toilet cubicle with no curtain. Very Good powerful shower. Lots of big mirrors mostly full length. A wooden box with a selection of different tetley teas. Bathrobes and three magazines (Times holiday, Tattler and a men's gadget mag) as well as a large TV with three channels showing Films etc. There IS a club lounge on A deck which I believe is for suites and you receive an envelope with an invitation to view and book. £70 for the lovely lounge across the front of A deck. Free drinks for 2 hours, free internet access all day, continental breakfast with extras and Tea is also served there plus a few other extras. Well worth the money if a hideaway with a lovely quiet ambience, is required !!

We are staying in A157 in December, there will be 4 of us - 2 couples, so the bed settee will be used. Will the room be spacious enough. Also how private are the facilities, is the toilet separate from the bathroom etc. Have been put off a little by criticism about the noise from the deckchairs/loungers from above - did this disturb you? I have cruised twice before with OV but both times on P deck - so know I love the ship and facilities. Booked on a buy 2 get 2 free deal, hence the suite, and all the questions.

Navigator of the Seas…..In just a few weeks I’ll be boarding Navigator of the Seas with my family for our cruise. It’s going to be the first time we have cruised with my little girl and we are all so excited, it’s going to be extra special as it’s our honeymoon cruise and yes we are taking Sofia with us…we couldn’t leave her behind! My little girl is five and I have been telling her all about the ship and what we’ll be able to do. Of course at f...

Port Or Starboard? Whats t...

By Gina Rowan

Gina Rowan's blog

I wish I had a pound for every time I have been asked this question. I could have sailed around the world in Luxury! Aah yes! but would I choose Port or Starboard for my cabin? Or left side versus the right side of the ship?I suppose it depends on where you’re headed. I know that quite a few seasoned cruisers swear by the Starboard side. Although it really depends on what type of cruise you are on.For instance, if you are sailing in one direction, North or West generally people pr...
