On QM2 recently we got white cotton bathrobes, but not until the 2nd evening. They were one size, so a bit too big for me and a bit too small for my hubby, but they absorbed the water well after a shower. We also found white towelling slippers in the wardrobe for us. toiltertries consisted of shower caps, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, shower gel and bars of soap. Also a notice in bathroom staing that anything else needd ie toothbrush, could be obtained via your cabin steward. Bath and hand towels plus flannels, all changed twice a day too.

Thank you for your answer to my question. I have had some of the extras you mention on P&O in the past. And we had bathrobes and a surprising amount of toiletries when we had a suite on Island Star recently, but because we were not expecting so much to be in the cabin I packed a lot of stuff I didn't need, not good on a fly cruise!

Thanks for the reply. I originally booked a BB cabin on deck 11 but upgraded to an AA on the same deck because I wanted a cabin with a bath. I've just checked OV website and and they are describing it as a suite rather than a stateroom but as I say never been on OV so not sure what to expect.

Yes they do have bathrobes in the suites, and the toiletries in the staterooms are molten brown showergel and soap.

Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. Very pleased about the bathrobes, leaves a bit more room in the suitcase for clothes!

The latest technology available in the near v=future on Royal Caribbean is facial recognition. the latest technology is already functioning on Allure of the seas and oasis of the seas and will be found on 13% of the fleet. So what does this mean?It means passengers can now check in really quickly thanks to their pre loaded photo, open their cabin doors without a keycard and a luggage tracker will monitor their bags and send them an alert once the luggage has arrived to the cabin. Is this a ste...

We have just returned from what was an absolute winter paradise. Whenever you say paradise you may think of tropical beaches like the Maldives or Bora Bora, but we have just come back from Quebec in Canada where we went skiing in Mont Tremblant in the Laurentian mountains over xmas and New Year, and it was simply stunning. This was somewhere new for us as we do tend to go back to same the places over xmas and New Year such as Lapland or Banff in the Canadian Rockies, so it was great to g...
